Saddle gait

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The saddle walk in the circus is the space between the door, closed with a curtain, which forms the entrance to the ring , and the tent opening for the artists and animals. The gradin, i.e. the round spectator stand, is interrupted by the saddle corridor . The saddle gear is often Circus Orchestra furnished. The saddle gear serves the artists to prepare, about to sit up on the horses, and for providing the props . In the past, horses were saddled there.
