The Saurer Tartaruga was the prototype of an infantry fighting vehicle from Adolph Saurer AG .

History and Development

The Saurer Tartaruga was built in 1959. Together with the Mowag pirate , he was tested by the Swiss Army. However, this then decided on the American M113 . A prototype is now in the Thun Tank Museum .
