The Saut-de-Mouton railway tunnel is a 1729 meter long arched cut in the western part of the city of Geneva . The tunnel, opened in 1995, is located on the double-lane railway line Geneva - La Plaine or Geneva Cornavin - Geneva Airport of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and was built primarily for reasons of noise protection.
