Savonlinnan Työvae Palloseura
Savonlinnan Työvänen Palloseura ("Workers Ball Club Savonlinna", abbreviation STPS ) is a football club from Savonlinna in Finland . He currently plays in the Kolmonen , the fourth highest league in Finland.
The club, in the past of which the labor movement played an important role - the club belongs to the Finnish workers' sports association TUL , was founded in 1947. From 1979 to 1980 the first team played under the name Estura , in the 1990s as FC Savonlinna .
With around 650 active members in numerous men's, women's and youth teams, STPS is the largest sports club in Savonlinna. He is particularly successful in futsal , where the women's team became Finnish champions in 2005.
