The Saxo Bank is a Danish online broker where CFDs , futures , equities , funds and foreign currency can be traded online. The bank originally operated as Midas Fondsmæglerselskab , founded by Lars Seier Christensen, Kim Fournais and Marc Hauschildt. The name was changed in 2001 when the company obtained the banking license .
Saxo Bank is the main sponsor of the Danish think tank Center for Politiske Studier ( CEPOS ) , which is assigned to classical liberalism , and the Danish cycling team Team Saxo Bank .
