Sayed Tahir Shah

Sayed Tahir Shah (born February 5, 1980 in Dar-e-Turkman ) is an Afghan national football player .

career

Tahir Shah started playing football as a refugee in Iran . His club in Iran was Shahid Balkhy . Since 2002 he has been back in Afghanistan and works for FC Maiwand . His first major appearance with the Afghan national team was in a game against a selection of ISAF troops. The striker scored the winning goal against Kyrgyzstan in qualifying for the 2004 Asian Cup .
