In fresh water, anglers use the Sbirolino for basic rigging for pikeperch fishing. It is usually mounted on the main line instead of a base lead and enables the pikeperch to suck up the bait more easily. Basically, Sbirolinos are available in different weight classes. The versions are usually floating, slowly sinking and sinking. On the Sbirolino there is generally one indication for the weight in the air and a second with the exact weight in the water.
