Scalable Inman Flash Replacement
Scalable Inman Flash Replacement (sIFR short) is a combination of several web technologies that enables any font in a XHTML - website to use. The standard fonts used in HTML are often not sufficient for an individual design.
With the help of the sIFR script , the font of a text passage marked with CSS selectors (for example headings or menu items) is exchanged for an individual font when the website is loaded. The desired font must be saved as a file in Adobe Flash format.
The technique only works with web browsers with activated JavaScript and installed Adobe Flash - Plugin .
