The company Scandia A / S in Randers was by the British consortium Peto, Brassey and Betts under the name Hvide Mølle founded.
history
Hvide Mølle manufactured passenger and freight cars for the North Jutland railway network. In 1876 the company became a stock corporation under the name Scandia A / S, which manufactured the first Rowan cars (later built under license by Borsig in Berlin, among others ).
In 1986, the name of the company was Ascan Scandia A / S changed. In 1990 ABB took over 51% of the shares and the company was renamed ABB Scandia .
1996 preconceived ABB and Daimler their entire rail production in a joint subsidiary ABB Daimler-Benz Transportation together, the name was in Adtranz Denmark A / S changed.
In 1999, DaimlerChrysler took over the shares of ABB, and ABB Daimler-Benz Transportation then became DaimlerChrysler Rail Systems . In 2001, Bombardier took over all of the DaimlerChrysler shares. The new name of the company was Bombardier Transportation Denmark A / S .
