The Dauelsen shooting club is a shooting club from the Verden district of Dauelsen . The club is particularly successful in archery and was a participant in the 1st Bundesliga archery from the 2003/04 to 2011/12 season and again since the 2014/15 season .
history
The association was founded in 1897. Since the 1998/99 season there has been an almost uninterrupted march from the state league to the Bundesliga. Already in the second season 2004/05 the 3rd place was achieved in the Bundesliga finals in Waiblingen. In the next season, at the finals at home in Verden, they even managed to get 2nd place. In the following years, although they won the North Season in 2009/10, they couldn't get back into the medal ranks in three appearances in the finals.
This then resulted in 7th place at the end of the 2011/12 season and the associated relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga. You could then leave it with first place two years later, in the 2013/14 season. In the first season back in the 1st Bundesliga North, the second place in the relay should be achieved as well as winning the Bundesliga final in Dahlewitz this time. Thus, the club won for the first time in its club history, with four wins and only one defeat, the German Bundesliga finals. From then on, the finals could be reached in almost every season. In the 2016/17 season, the club even became German champions one more time.
