Dominik Kollmann (born November 9, 1985 in Traunstein ) is a German radio presenter and DJ . He began his career in 1998 at the local radio station Radio Chiemgau in Traunstein . He is currently moderating the program of the nationwide radio station egoFM .

Life

Kollmann grew up in Chiemgau and made his first experiences with Radio Chiemgau at the age of nine. From 1998 to 2003 he moderated the children's and youth news program “Schau mal!” On Bavarian television .

After finishing school, Kollmann moved to Munich and initially worked at Radio Feierwerk . He then worked for Radio 2Day for four years , where he presented the drive-time program "Quicktimes". At the same time he produced the alternative web radio TV project "Downtownradio", from which the web radio Substance FM emerged in 2009 for the Munich alternative club Substance . Kollmann then spent five years at EgoFM , where he moderated various formats and worked as an editor and DJ. In 2012 he was awarded the Bavarian Newcomer Promotion Prize there for the newcomer program “Lokalhelden”. In January 2015, Kollmann switched to Radio Energy and moderated the afternoon program in Munich, among other things. There he was also a DJ for station events and a producer for program productions and commercials.

Since May 2018 Kollmann has been a moderator at egoFM again. There he moderates the morning show "Dawn" and the personality show Hoffmann & Kollmann with Elise Hoffmann, alternating weekly .

In addition, Kollmann produced and hosted the program Radioreise with Alexander Tauscher, which appeared on channels such as Charivari Rosenheim, Bayernwelle SüdOst , Radio Ton , Radio 700 , West Coast FM, Radio Saarbrücken , Radio Merzig , Radio Homburg , Hamburg Local Radio , City Radio Trier , BadenFM , Antenne Frankfurt and Schwarzwaldradio is broadcast. In 2014 the episode "Die Radioreise in Dallas" was nominated for the German Radio Prize in the category "Best Innovation".

In February 2020, Kollmann moderated the livestream of the world championship in ski mountaineering on the Jenner in Berchtesgaden for the German Alpine Club . Together with the former European and world champion in ski mountaineering Josef Rottmoser, he guided through the show for two days .

Kollmann has been a DJ for events for ten years and is currently performing as a Double Trouble Soundsystem with Philipp Frost (MC Frost) .

Others

Kollmann regularly volunteers. In December 2019, he helped out at the Münchner Tafel for one day . In a radio report that resulted from this, he drew attention to the urgent need for the food banks in Germany .
