Bayernwelle SüdOst (own spelling) is a private local radio station based in Freilassing , which has been broadcasting in the Chiemgau and Berchtesgadener Land area since January 1, 2009 and replaces the Untersberg live and Radio Chiemgau programs . The company operates under the official name Radio Berchtesgadener Land & Chiemgau GmbH.
Local radio Berchtesgadener Land GmbH & Co. " Untersberg live " KG and Radio Chiemgau program provider GmbH & Co. KG each hold 50% as shareholders .

Bayernwelle SüdOst has been operated as a transmitter with the Soft AC format since January 1st, 2009 .
The broadcasting time is 24 hours a day, including specialty providers, with at least 13 hours on weekdays and a total of at least 12 hours of self-produced programs on weekends. In the remaining time, the BLR program is adopted.
The local news is produced and broadcast separately for the districts of Berchtesgadener Land and Traunstein.
