Untersberg live
Untersberg live was a private radio broadcaster from Freilassing . The company operated under the official name of Lokalradio Berchtesgadener Land GmbH & Co. KG. It started broadcasting on August 1, 2002. The station took over from Radio Untersberg, which went bankrupt in 2001. Dietmar Nagelmüller was the broadcaster's managing director and program manager.

With the approval of the media council of the Bavarian state headquarters on October 9, 2008, the merger of Radio Chiemgau and Radio Untersberg Live was approved. The joint program became Bayernwelle SüdOst on January 1, 2009 . The frequencies from Untersberg live were taken over from January 1, 2009 by Bayernwelle SüdOst.

Untersberg live was a broadcaster with the Soft AC format and defined itself as a radio that was precisely tuned to the listeners of the target group 14 to 49 years of age.
The transmission time was 24 hours a day, including the specialist providers.
reception
The terrestrial transmission frequencies were 88.2 MHz ( Bad Reichenhall-Kirchholz ), 89.0 MHz ( Högl ) and 89.3 MHz ( Berchtesgaden ). The transmission area covered the entire Berchtesgadener Land, parts of the Traunstein district and the city of Salzburg and its surroundings.
