baden.fm is a private local radio station based in Freiburg im Breisgau . It broadcasts for all of southern Baden , from Achern via Offenburg, Titisee-Neustadt to Lörrach and Waldshut-Tiengen. The station can also be received in neighboring areas of Alsace and Switzerland, here from Basel to Zurich, using the FM frequency 106.0 MHz.

Alignment

baden.fm specifies the 30 to 59 year old people in the broadcasting area as the core target group. The music format consists of a mix of well-known pop and rock songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. baden.fm describes its music profile with the claim "The full variety in music with the best music mix from 4 decades".

In terms of content, baden.fm relies on local journalistic content from the core region (urban district of Freiburg and districts of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Emmendingen) as well as the wider broadcasting area (districts of Ortenau, Lörrach and Waldshut) but also from northern Switzerland and Alsace, where the station can also be received . These are shown in the entire program and especially in the news every full and half hour.

The station is popular for its live broadcasts of all SC Freiburg games . SC Freiburg expert Frank Rischmüller has been a reporter for 20 years. In addition to SC Freiburg, baden.fm also sponsors Bahlinger SC , EHC Freiburg , TuS Adelhausen , USC Eisvögel and the ORSO Choir and Orchestra Society .

The station achieved nationwide attention through campaigns such as the "baden.fm tank days", on which you could fill up for 1 € per liter in the broadcast area (at certain petrol stations), or through the "baden.fm treasure hunt". Here, the transmitter hid cash in public parks. Listeners had to watch the program for days to find out where they were. Shortly before Christmas 2012 everyone was talking about baden.fm as the presenter of the morning show apparently locked himself in the studio and played the Wham! For almost two hours non-stop . Hit Last Christmas played.

baden.fm is a production of Funkhaus Freiburg GmbH & Co. KG , which in turn belongs to Die Neue Welle Rundfunk-Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG in Nuremberg, which in turn belongs to Müller Medien GmbH & Co. KG .
