Reyk Heyer (born May 14, 1977 ) is a German journalist and radio and television presenter.

Life

Reyk Heyer, who grew up in Bad Lauchstädt , began his career as a presenter at the age of 16 on the Saxon youth radio Energy Sachsen . In 1998 he went to Berlin and took on the role of editor-in-chief and assistant to program manager Georg Gafron at TV Berlin . He moderated several programs here such as Berlin Jetzt , Auf Draht and Treffpunkt Berlin and was the youngest television presenter in Berlin at the time.

In 2001, Heyer switched to the public service Ostdeutscher Rundfunk Brandenburg as an editor and reporter , which merged on May 1, 2003 with the Sender Freies Berlin to become Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb). In 2003 he switched to the private radio broadcaster BB Radio in Potsdam. From BB Radio, Heyer went to Skyline Medien GmbH as program director , which operates the nationwide radio station for Black Music Jam FM . After more than ten years of loss-making business, it was here that it achieved audience numbers for the first time, which saved the station from impending bankruptcy. Heyer completely restructured the company. From September 2005, two programs were produced: a nationwide one under the name Jam FM - your new Black Music Radio and the regional program Jam FM 93.6 - Berlin's new Black Music Radio, which is aimed at the metropolis of Berlin . For the first time, contemporary structures were introduced into the program sequences of Jam FM and a so-called "transparency" of the programs established. The Saarland FM frequencies from Jam FM were sold to BigFM in the summer of 2005 in favor of the Berlin regional program .

After leaving Jam FM, Heyer took over the coordination of several frequency tenders in Berlin / Brandenburg for several program providers. In the meantime, he moderated some special programs on television from Berlin . On January 1, 2012, he took over the position of program manager and editor-in-chief of baden.fm in Freiburg im Breisgau . The station succeeded in growing from 13,000 listeners per hour (source: MA 2011 / II) to 32,000 listeners in the average hour (source: MA 2014 / II).

Heyer lives separately near Freiburg im Breisgau and has a daughter.
