Cityradio Trier is the local radio station for Trier & the Eifel-Mosel region. It started broadcasting on November 13, 2010. A transition program was in place until then. The frequencies were previously used by the insolvent radio station Antenne West , which however had to give them back. From January 3, 2010 until Cityradio Trier began broadcasting, 884 Trier broadcast on the Antenne West frequency.

The operator is Cityradio Trier GmbH. A music and information program with a focus on pop music will be broadcast . The station is part of " The Radio Group ". The program will be produced in the new broadcasting center at Porta Nigra .
