criticism

In 2013, the NDR's media magazine Zapp raised allegations against the station. According to former employees, Stephan Schwenk is said to have manipulated information in a targeted manner. The private television broadcaster Rheinmaintv later interviewed the managing director who confirmed the burst water pipe. Since a locksmith company and not the fire department was called to repair the pipe, but the Zapp reporter asked the fire department, they could not confirm the incident. On the other hand, Rheinmaintv contradicted the accusation that Antenne Kaiserslautern reported unilaterally on the planned construction of a shopping center. A survey by the radio station before the construction is congruent with the referendum, which sealed the construction of the K shopping center in Lautern in 2011 with 66% . The radio station's editorial staff stated that the survey values, original quotes and the later verifiable congruence of the referendum were not or not fully incorporated into the report of the NDR media magazine.
