Antenne Pirmasens is a private radio station broadcasting from Pirmasens in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The station is part of the local radio chain in Rhineland-Palatinate under the umbrella of The Radio Group GmbH . The local radio stations were licensed in 2008 due to a new tender for radio frequencies by the State Center for Media and Communication (LMK). The radio program with regional and local reference is broadcast on the VHF frequency Pirmasens 88.4 MHz, which was used by Rockland Radio from 1998 to 2008 . In 2012 the name of the station was changed from Radio Pirmasens to Antenne Pirmasens.

Antonio Gallucci is the managing director of the operating company of Antenne Pirmasens, G & G Medien Südwestpfalz GmbH.

Antenne Pirmasens organizes events on a regular basis. The best known are the Pirmasenser Lachen (a photo competition) and the Pirmasenser Schloßbrunnenfest, which was held for the first time in 2010.

The antenna Pirmasens program focuses on regional topics from the fields of politics, economy, society, culture, education and sport. Every half hour the program is supplemented by news from the region, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany and the world, as well as local weather and traffic reports every half hour. In the midday and early afternoon broadcast times, the focus is on the music program, which consists of a mixture of current pop music. The station broadcasts a daily live program between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. from the broadcasting house in the Pirmasenser Schlossgalerie.
