Schadowstrasse 18
The commercial building at Schadowstrasse 18 on the corner of Schadowplatz in Düsseldorf was built in 1888 by the Düsseldorf architects Boldt & Frings for the Louis Alsberg company. The building on the corner plot showed a five-story tower-like structure with a dome at the corner . The corners of the polygonal tower structure showed presented ionic columns in a colossal order . The pillars rested on mighty consoles. The windows of the main floor on the second floor showed triangular gable as Fensterverdachung. The decoration of the balcony was decorated with wrought iron work.
