Switching program

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shift programs are used by the driver of a motor vehicle to adapt the automatic transmission to his driving style. An economy program e.g. B. promotes a more fuel-efficient driving style , since it is already upshifted in relatively low speed ranges . However, this function is delayed by a lot of throttle or even completely bypassed by full throttle or kickdown . Power or sport driving programs are used in accordance with a more sporty driving style through later gear changes, i.e. by driving in higher speed ranges, which also increases fuel consumption .
