Shuttering chain

Formwork tensioning chains (also called shoring or channel chains ) are used in conjunction with sheet pile walls . A sheet pile wall is used to secure an excavation pit , which is intended to prevent the soil surrounding the pit from slipping and / or the ingress of water. Additional securing is required from a certain height of the wall. This can be done using formwork tension chains.

Formwork tensioning chains consist of chains according to DIN 5685, as well as pull chain hooks welded in on both sides without a safety latch. The standard length is usually 2500 mm. The surface is galvanized. Tensioning chains are offered in chain dimensions 5.5 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm.

Formwork tension chains consist of chains according to DIN 5685 - long-link. Chains according to DIN 5685 have not been tested and must therefore not be used for lifting loads.

The determined breaking forces are only theoretical values. The manufacturer cannot therefore issue a test certificate.
