Frauke Tengler

Frauke Tengler (born September 11, 1948 in Hürup ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

She was 2005-2009 Second Vice President of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein and 1996-2005 chairman of the Environment Committee of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament.

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1969, Frauke Tengler completed a teaching degree at the University of Education in Flensburg by 1972 . She then worked as a teacher at the secondary and secondary school in Böklund until 1996 .

Frauke Tengler is married and has two daughters.

Political party

Frauke Tengler was a member of the board of the CDU district association Schleswig-Flensburg from 1994 to 2011 and has been deputy district association chairwoman since 2000.

Frauke Tengler was a member of the Eggebek municipal council from 1990 to 2011 and a member of the district council of the Schleswig-Flensburg district from 1990 to 2003 .

From 1996 to 2009 she was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein. Frauke Tengler was chairwoman of the environmental committee from 1996 to 2005. On March 17, 2005, she was elected second vice-president of the state parliament. She was also the specialist spokesperson for the CDU state parliamentary group for the areas of family and drugs .

Frauke Tengler has always entered the state parliament as a directly elected member of the Flensburg-Land constituency . In the 2005 state elections, she received 42.6% of the first votes . She no longer ran for the state elections in 2009.
