The treasure trove of Herringe ( Danish Sølvskatten fra Herringe ) near Rudme on the Danish island of Funen dates from the Viking Age (800-1050 AD) and was excavated in 2008 and 2009.

The salvaged part of the silver treasure deposited around 960 AD consists of 41 Kufic silver coins . from today's Iran , a silver bracelet and half of a fine Thor's hammer . The coins are mostly from the Muslim caliphate , while others were produced in what is now Russia . The Thor hammer and the silver bracelet, on the other hand, are Scandinavian works.
