Schela (Old Testament)

In the Jewish Tanakh and thus also in the Christian Old Testament ( Gen 38.5  EU ), Schela is a son of Judah and the daughter of the Canaanite Shua. He was born in Kesib . His brothers were Er and Onan . According to the custom of levirate marriage , he should have married Tamar , his brothers' widow; however, this was refused by Judah ( Gen 38,14  EU ).
