Sheti Sharghy ( Kazakh Жеті жарғы , also transcribed as Zheti Zhargy ) is a Central Asian - Kazakh legal code from the early 18th century. In it, by Tauke Khan , the khan of the Kazakhs ( Kazak khanate ), Kazakh traditional customary law ( adat ) and Islamic law were combined to form a code. The collection is divided into seven parts.
