The ongoing war between the two factions is ended when an alien civilization takes the stage. criticism

  • Stephen O'Kane: "Bruce Sterling keeps ... a paradox alive: Schismatrix is full of ideas and powerful images, and yet on a very fundamental level the future - with all the different environmental conditions - is similar to the past. Not easy to read, but often extremely interesting and from time to time even really exciting. "
