Battle of Bedriacum

Two battles from the year of the Four Emperors (69 AD) are referred to as the Battle of Bedriacum or the Battle of Cremona , each of which took place at the ancient site of Bedriacum :

• First Battle of Bedriacum - Vitellius defeated Otho
• Second battle of Bedriacum - an army of Vespasian defeats an army of Vitellius

Bedriacum was on the Via Postumia between Cremona and Mantua , near today's Calvatone .
