Slaughterhouse in Offenburg (2014)

The slaughterhouse in Offenburg was built in 1905/06. The slaughterhouse at Wasserstraße 22 was built by the city of Offenburg and is still owned by them today. It is operated by private companies.

The building in the style of historicism made of brick masonry has arched windows on the main facade and the entrance is flanked by two octagonal towers.

The slaughterhouse will be closed according to the current status in 2019. The building is then to be used as a center for cultural and creative industries.
