In the sociology of plants, the vegetation is referred to as a flotilla , which is established on its base after the natural or artificial formation of a forest clearing .

Typical representatives of the so-called hit flora in Central Europe are, for example, fireweed , blackberries and wild strawberries . The characteristic plant community (class) of the corridors is called Epilobietea angustifolii .
