Hose bandage

A hose bandage is used as a makeshift seal for a hose that has become defective in use in order to avoid an immediate hose change.

The hose bandage consists of a flexible metal band with a foam rubber layer , older models consist of two light metal half-shells connected by a hinge, which are placed around the hose and closed by a lever .
