The grinding shop on the König , also called Messererhammer Brandstätter , is located in the Trattenbachtal in the market town of Ternberg in the Steyr-Land district in Upper Austria . The former cutlery and today's part of the themed trail from the museum village Tal der Feitelmacher is under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

Knife sharpening was practiced from the 17th century until 1960. One family at a time ran the work.
