Schliersbergbahn

Cable car to the Schliersbergalm

The Schliersbergbahn is an aerial tramway with two cabins for ten people each and leads from Schliersee to the Schliersbergalm at 1,061 m. Above is a hotel and an excursion restaurant as well as some leisure facilities.

The railway was built in 1951 as a feeder to the hotel and overcomes a height difference of 230 m with a length of 725 m. In 1996 the lift was completely renewed by Waagner Biro . The six cable car supports of the old cableway were replaced by three new supports.

You can take the 960 m long summer toboggan run (alpine roller) down to the valley.
