Blue smurf ice

Smurf Ice is a name for blue ice cream with a vanilla flavor . The name refers to the skin color of the cartoon characters Smurfs . Due to the color, other names are "Blue Angel" and "Azzurro". It is offered in the “chewing gum” flavor, which is why it is also appropriately called chewing gum ice cream or bubble gum ice cream.

For the preparation, a vanilla ice cream preparation is mixed with blue coloring ingredients. Are usual pasta Fiocco Azzurro , food coloring or food additives such as E 131 , E 133 and E 151 . As a substitute, Blue Curacao is used to tint smurf ice blue.
