Taste pound

The taste pound is a unit of weight that was used in the countries along the North and Baltic Sea coasts .

  • Riga : 1 pound = 400 ordinary pounds
  • Lübeck : 4 taste pounds = 5 ship pounds (Lübeck)
  • 1 pound = 347 ½ pounds (Wiener) (1 Wiener Pf. = 0.696 kilograms ) = 241.86 kilograms

The Hamburger Schmackpfund and the Stockholm were the same size.
