Scholars Pavilion in Vienna

The Scholars Pavilion is a memorial by the Iranian artist Aghaye Golestani . It was erected in 2009 as a gift from the Iranian government in Vienna's UN City . He is the only Chartagi outside of Iran.

The monument rests on four pillars that symbolize the four cardinal points. The personalities depicted are the scholars Avicenna , Khayyam , Razi and al-Biruni .
