Schoodic Stream Railroad
The Schoodic Stream Railroad is a former railway company in Maine ( United States ). It was founded in 1906 with the aim of connecting the East Millinocket paper mills to the main line of the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad . The route was opened in the same year.
Bangor & Aroostook acquired the Schoodic Stream Railroad in November 1906 and incorporated the route into their network. Since 2003 the railway has been under the direction of the Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railway .
