The Schoonebeeker Heideschaf (also Schoonebeeker for short) is a breed of sheep named after the place Schoonebeek . In the Netherlands it is counted among the grazing sheep along with dairy sheep and Texel sheep .

The Schoonebeeker is a very large, long-legged sheep with an elongated trunk. It is not horned and shows a so-called "Roman nose". The ears are large and high, stand to the side and point forward. The female animal can weigh up to 50 kg, the buck up to 80 kg.
