Diverse initiative for the preservation of old and endangered domestic animal breeds
The diverse initiative for the conservation of old and endangered domestic animal breeds ( VIEH ) is an association founded in 2004 in the open-air museum at Kiekeberg with headquarters in Suderbruch in Lower Saxony ( joint municipality of Schwarmstedt ) and currently (2008) around 4,400 supporters.
Since 2004 VIEH has been displaying so-called farm animal arks .
