Drawer contract

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Drawer contract referred to colloquially a mobile subscription , which is not used (or only marginally) and correspondingly in the drawer remains.

Containment

A "drawer contract" is not a class of cell phone contracts . It is a winged term that is used for a contract which is kept unused ("in the drawer"). Attractive supplements such as cell phones, game consoles, laptops or televisions are included with the mobile phone contract through special offers or campaigns . If the total cost of the contract is cheaper than the attached product, the purchase is worthwhile for the customer.

The contract is then kept unused ( in the drawer ).

reasons

Mobile phone providers offer what are known as "drawer contracts" to acquire new customers in order to strengthen their position on the market . A larger customer base, in turn, attracts potential buyers.

In addition, mobile network providers usually receive a commission payment from the mobile network provider for each new customer . The provider can pass this advantage on to the customer, which results in more attractive conditions. Since the commissions are staggered, a larger customer base results in cheaper conditions.
