Shoe and leather goods steppers

The shoe and leather goods stepper was a state-recognized, two-year training occupation in Germany from 1964 to 2011 according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG).

The training regulations were modernized in 2010. As a result, a new apprenticeship was created on August 1, 2011, the specialist for leather processing , so that the shoe and leather goods stepper was canceled.
