Acknowledgment of guilt

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Acknowledgment of guilt is the confirmation of the debtor that a claim against him is justified. In Swiss debt enforcement law , the existence of an acknowledgment of guilt means that the creditor does not have to go through the normal process in the legal proceedings , but can be granted so-called provisional legal disclosure.

Not only an abstract promise of debt, but also a bankruptcy loss certificate , if the debtor has recognized the debt in bankruptcy proceedings (Art. 244 DEBA ) is deemed to be acknowledgment of debt .
