The Großenhain school with the outbuilding in Lintig , Grossenhain district , Grossenhainer Straße 50, is under the protection of monuments in Lower Saxony and is included in the list of architectural monuments in Geestland .

Großenhain is a small rural village with a little over 300 inhabitants and today a district of Lintig, a district of Geestland north of Bremerhaven.
The former village school, which is more than a hundred years old, is a single-storey building with a thatched half-hip roof . The not often found three semicircular towing dormer windows are striking . The building and the one-storey outbuilding are used today as a village community center and kindergarten.
