coat of arms

The draft municipal coat of arms of Lintig comes from the heraldic coat of arms painter Albert de Badrihaye who designed in the district of Cuxhaven on the 80 coats of arms.

Lintig Coat of Arms
Blazon : " Split , in front in red a silver crane wing , behind in silver an uprightred key with the beardturnedto the right ."
Justification of the coat of arms: The crane wing is part of the coat of arms of the noble family "von der Lieth ", which belonged to "Lyntge" in the 15th century. The key is borrowed from the coat of arms of the city of Bremen , which held the manor in Lintig until 1654, but the color and position of the key have changed.
