Gunfire

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hunting dog is said to be hot in fire if it wants to pursue the game immediately after firing a shot . This behavior is undesirable, however, since there is a risk that the dog will run into the hunter's path for a possible catch shot . Usually, after a shot has been fired, depending on the type of game and type of hunt, one waits a few minutes to pick up the game or up to a few hours to search .

The heat of the shot occurs due to incorrect behavior by the dog handler and incorrect training of the dog.
