Black Heath (Hanover)
The Schwarze Heide is a settlement area with around 1,300 inhabitants in the Hanover-Stöcken district .
location
The Schwarze Heide settlement area is geographically north of the Federal Motorway 2 , the Mittelland Canal and the Volkswagen plant . To the north of the settlement is the municipality of the city of Langenhagen with the outside area of Köllingsmoor and the village of Engelbostel . In the east it consists of a large industrial park, the development of which began in 2008. In the north there is a fully developed residential area. In between is a mixed area in which currently (2016) u. a. a mosque of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat , a hotel with a restaurant and other establishments are located.
Transport links
The Schwarze Heide is conveniently located on Autobahn 2 . From the west, the Schwarze Heide can be reached via the Hannover-Nordhafen exit . In addition, the international airport Hannover-Langenhagen is 4 km, the main train station of Hannover 12 km away. The area is connected to public transport by a bus stop.
Residents
In 1995 the Black Heath was only populated by small semi-detached houses in five streets. A construction project for around 40 terraced houses began in 1996 on Im Roggenfelde , and other projects followed. A multicultural mix now lives here in smaller terraced houses, medium-sized semi-detached houses and quite large single-family houses.
About 200 meters from the settlement border, the religious community Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat built their Bait us-Sami (German: House of the All-Hearing ) from 2005 to 2008 .
