The Swedish Cross of Retz is a field cross in Retz in the Hollabrunn district in Lower Austria .

The Sweden cross stands near the old town in the vineyard Wiegnen on Wiegnensteig and oriented to the northwest. An illustrated tabernacle rests on an articulated shaft on which the year 1651 and an inscription according to the decree of Ferdinand III are noted.

The Retz city judge Reichardt Sandtner had the wayside shrine built in 1651 after difficult negotiations with the Swedish General Torstensson during the Thirty Years' War . The city of Retz was spared.
