Swedish flower chickens (Swedish: Skånsk blommehöna) are a rare, old Swedish land plot of domestic chicken .

Landschlag was first mentioned around 1800 and almost became extinct in the 1970s. The country chickens are characterized by a particularly multi-colored, "flowery" plumage, from which the name is derived. At 2 to 2.5 kg (hen) or 2.5 to 3.5 kg (rooster), they are the heaviest Swedish fowl fowl. The hens lay around 150 or 180 cream-colored eggs per year, depending on the source.

Today's holdings come from three farms in the historic Swedish province of Skåne .

Hence its Swedish name "Skånsk blommehöna" , which literally means "Scholars African flowers chicken" means.
