Tail hackers

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The tail cutter is part of a harness with which draft animals are clamped in front of a tool or a wagon.

The tail cutter is the part that lies directly under the tail . The so-called tail strap , which rests on the back of the draft animal, is connected to the comb lid (with the single horse with the selett ) and gives the harness a good fit.

In order to clamp the tail cutters under the tail beet, the tail beet is placed almost vertically by hand and only then is the tail cutter pulled over it.

The tail cutter is usually made of leather and filled with a regreasing seed (such as linseed) so that this part always remains supple.
