Swiss Padel Association
Swiss Padel is the Swiss Padel Association (French L'Association Suisse de Padel , English Swiss Padel Association ). It is the umbrella organization of the Swiss padel associations . Founded in 2006, Swiss Padel currently has eight clubs (locations) and over 130 licensed players. The association is based in Zurich. Claudia Bräm has been president since 2017.

The association has set itself the goal of making the sport of padel better known and promoting it in Switzerland so that as many people as possible can actively play this sport as a leisure or competitive sport.
Association structure
The association is directly subordinate to the International Padel Federation (Federacion Internacional de Padel) . Swiss Padel is the umbrella organization of any regional associations. The organs are the assembly of delegates, the board of directors, the office and the auditor.
Working groups and departments
The association is divided into various working groups (departments). The departments are led by the board members.
history
The association was founded in 2006 and has been a member of the Federacion Internacional de Padel (FIP) since then.
The first padel court was built in 2010 in the Unterengstringen tennis and padel club . The national women's and men's team took part in the World Championships in Mexico for the first time in 2010 and 2012. The men's team also played at the World Championships in Spain in 2014 and at the European Championships in the Netherlands in 2015.
The Swiss championship, the masters tournament and interclub championships are organized by Swiss Padel. The association also organizes the Swiss Padel Tour every season and has been leading the Swiss Padel Ranking since 2016 .
