Historic golf score card

Score card (English: score = game result, evaluation / to score = to achieve points, write points) describes a form for recording the results in golf .

Since every golf course has its special requirements, there is also a special scorecard for each golf course, in which the results achieved for each golf course (the golfer says: per hole) are noted. The peculiarities relevant to the respective golf course are taken into account on this scorecard. In addition to the general information such as date, player name, handicap ( handicap ) of the individual players, etc., the following information is particularly important:

When adding up the game results, there are usually intermediate results after the first nine holes (1st half = OUT) and the last nine holes (2nd half = IN or HOME). The addition of the two halves then gives the total result (TOTAL).

Most likely, will be on the scorecard court rules called. These are rules that do not deviate from the official golf rules , but supplement them due to the special circumstances of the course, such as the type of distance markings, movable or immovable obstacles, biotopes , paths or roads.

A schematic representation of the location and course of the individual golf courses is also helpful .
